All three are good CRMs, and plenty of UAE businesses run on each one. The useful question isn’t which is best. It’s which fits how your team sells, how customers contact you and what you’ll pay in year two. This guide compares them on exactly those points, using list prices checked on 22 October 2026.
The short answer, by situation
| Your situation | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 2–10 salespeople, deals move through clear stages, you want people to actually use it | Pipedrive | Built around the visual pipeline. Quick to learn, little to configure. |
| Tight budget per user, you want custom fields and processes, or you already use Zoho Books or Zoho Mail | Zoho CRM | Lowest paid entry price of the three. Deep customisation. Free for up to 3 users. |
| Marketing and sales need one shared system (forms, emails, ads, pipeline) | HubSpot | Strongest all-in-one platform. The free CRM is a real starting point. |
| Most enquiries arrive on WhatsApp | Check the WhatsApp section first | Native WhatsApp support differs a lot by plan |
| You just need to stop losing leads from a spreadsheet, with 1–2 people | HubSpot free or Zoho free | Both are free at this size. Upgrade only when you hit a limit. |
What it costs over 12 months
These are list prices per user per month on annual billing, in US dollars, from each vendor’s pricing page on 22 October 2026. AED figures use the fixed rate of 3.6725 and exclude VAT and any bank card fees. Monthly billing costs more for all three.
| Plan | Per user per month | 3 users, 12 months | 10 users, 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Free CRM | US$0 (up to 2 users) | n/a | n/a |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Starter | from US$7 (US$20 also shown, see note) | AED 925–2,644 | AED 3,085–8,814 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Professional | US$90 (US$100 monthly) + US$1,500 one-time onboarding | AED 17,408 | AED 45,172 |
| Zoho CRM Free | US$0 (up to 3 users) | AED 0 | n/a |
| Zoho CRM Standard | US$14 (US$20 monthly) | AED 1,851 | AED 6,170 |
| Zoho CRM Professional | US$23 (US$35 monthly) | AED 3,041 | AED 10,136 |
| Zoho CRM Enterprise | US$40 (US$50 monthly) | AED 5,288 | AED 17,628 |
| Pipedrive Lite | US$14 | AED 1,851 | AED 6,170 |
| Pipedrive Growth | US$39 | AED 5,156 | AED 17,187 |
| Pipedrive Premium | US$59 | AED 7,800 | AED 26,001 |
Notes:
- HubSpot Starter shows both US$7 and US$20 per seat per month on its pricing pages, depending on billing term and current offers. We show the range. Confirm the price in HubSpot’s calculator before you commit.
- HubSpot Professional requires a one-time onboarding fee (US$1,500 for Sales Hub Professional), included above in year one. HubSpot also sells usage-based “HubSpot Credits” for AI features. Budget for them only if you plan to use those features.
- Zoho shows prices in several currencies, including AED, on its comparison page. Local taxes are added on top.
- Pipedrive’s prices exclude VAT.
The real jump isn’t from free to paid. It’s from entry to mid-tier: Pipedrive Lite to Growth, HubSpot Starter to Professional. That step is often where the features you want live, such as automation, sequences, WhatsApp and forecasting. Check which tier your must-haves need before comparing prices.
Where each one is strongest
Pipedrive
- Best at: keeping a small sales team focused on moving deals forward. The pipeline view is the product.
- Watch out for: marketing features are limited compared with HubSpot. Native WhatsApp sits on Growth and above, and is still in beta (see below).
Zoho CRM
- Best at: price per user, custom fields, modules and processes, and connecting to the wider Zoho suite (Books, Desk, Campaigns). Zoho opened data centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in January 2026.
- Watch out for: more setup decisions than Pipedrive. Teams that don’t configure it properly end up with a cluttered system nobody likes using.
HubSpot
- Best at: one system for website forms, email marketing, ads and the sales pipeline, with good reporting across them. The free CRM is genuinely useful.
- Watch out for: costs rise steeply at Professional, including onboarding fees. Many key features sit in specific “Hubs”, so check which Hub a feature belongs to before you buy.
WhatsApp: the question to ask first in the UAE
If most of your enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, a CRM that can’t see those conversations will always be half empty. Here’s what each vendor’s own documentation says, as of October 2026:
| Native WhatsApp | Plan needed | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Yes | Professional or Enterprise of Marketing Hub or Service Hub. Sales Hub alone doesn’t qualify. | Needs a WhatsApp Business account and phone number |
| Zoho CRM | Yes | Trial and all paid editions (not the free edition) | Admin sets it up through Business Messaging. Needs a verified Meta business and WhatsApp Business API number. |
| Pipedrive | Yes, in beta | Growth and above | Not yet available to every account. Meta-approved templates are needed to start conversations, and Meta charges per message. |
Three things apply to all of them, because they come from Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, not the CRM:
- You need a WhatsApp Business Platform (API) number. The personal WhatsApp app or the standard WhatsApp Business app on a phone won’t connect natively.
- Outside the 24-hour window after a customer’s last message, you can only send pre-approved templates.
- Meta charges for messages, separately from your CRM subscription.
Third-party connectors exist for all three CRMs and can fill gaps, but they add another subscription and another place for data to break. Count them in your costs.
Data, privacy and where records live
The UAE’s federal Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) has been in force since January 2022. Your CRM will hold personal data, so ask each vendor:
- Where your account’s data will be stored, and whether you can choose the region
- How to export all your data if you leave
- Who in their company can access it
Don’t assume. For example, Zoho has opened UAE data centres, but confirm with Zoho whether your CRM account will be hosted there. If you work in a regulated sector or with government entities, check your sector’s rules first.
Costs that don’t appear on the pricing page
- Setup time. Pipelines, fields, users, imports and automations. Budget days, not hours, for a team setup.
- Integrations. Website forms, WhatsApp, email, accounting and connectors.
- Messaging fees charged by Meta for WhatsApp.
- The upgrade you’ll need in year two when one must-have feature sits a tier up.
- Adoption. A CRM nobody updates is the most expensive kind. Fewer fields and simple stages do more for adoption than any feature.
How to choose in one week
- Write down five must-haves, for example WhatsApp inbox, two pipelines, quotes in AED, a mobile app, and website form capture.
- Check which plan of each CRM includes all five. That’s your real price.
- Run a free trial of your top two with five real deals from last month. Enter them, move them through the stages and set follow-ups.
- Ask the people who’ll use it daily which one they’d open without being reminded.
- Price 36 months, not 12, including the tier you’ll need as you grow.
The comparison sheet does steps 2 and 5 for you and scores each CRM against your must-haves.
Frequently asked questions
Is the free HubSpot or Zoho CRM enough?
For one or two people who need contacts, deals and reminders, often yes. Upgrade when you hit a specific limit you can name, such as automation, more users or WhatsApp. Don’t upgrade just because a paid tier exists.
Can we switch CRM later?
Yes. All three let you export your data. Moving contacts and deals is straightforward. Moving activity history, emails, attachments and automations takes the most work, so choosing well now saves effort later.
Which one has the best Arabic support?
It depends on what you need: an Arabic interface, Arabic data or Arabic templates. Test that during your trial with real Arabic names and messages, rather than relying on a feature list.
